Method for calculating the weight of a stainless steel 90 degree LR elbow

As you know, sometimes when we quote, we need to know the approximate weight of the goods, because when we need to calculate the freight of the goods, we also need an approximate weight.
So how do you easily and quickly calculate the approximate weight of a stainless steel 90 degree LR elbow?

There is a formula to get it. You can see the following:

For 316L materail stainless steel elbow: weight = (OD-WT) * WT * OD / 1000 * 0.02507 * 2.3kgs

Take the 219 * 3.76 316L 90 LR elbow as an example:

(219-3.76)*3.76*One thousand one thousand one thousand*0.02507*2.3=10.22kgs


For 304L materail stainless steel elbow: weight = (OD-WT) * WT * OD / 1000 * 0.02491 * 2.3kgs

Take the 219 * 3.76 304L 90 LR elbow as an example:

(219-3.76)*3.76* 219/1000*0.02491*2.3=10.15kgs
